Biography

Charalampos Tsimpouris was born in 1985 and graduated in June of 2008 from the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering at University of Patras. Since October 2008, he has been working as a Ph.D. student at the same department, under Professor’s Sgarbas expertise, working in the area of AI and computational linguistics on Greek law texts.

He has participated in the following programming contests: 2001, 13th panhellenic programming contest held by PDP; 2002, 14th panhellenic programming contest held by PDP; 2002, 10th Balkan Olympiad in Informatics, held in Belgrade; and 2002, 14th International Olympiad in Informatics, held in Yong-In, South Korea. He has also participated successfully as a judge for IEEEXtreme 6.0, 7.0, 8.0, 9.0 and 10.0.
