What is

IEEEXtreme

IEEEXtreme is a global challenge in which teams of IEEE Student members – advised and proctored by an IEEE member, and often supported by an IEEE Student Branch – compete in a 24-hour time span against each other to solve a set of programming problems.

Roles & Responsibilities

Take part in the IEEEXtreme Micro Volunteering Challenges (i.e. Micro Activities that excite and motivate you as an IEEEXtreme team Ambassador).

Reach out to colleges, universities, IEEE Student Branches and IEEE Student and Professional Members encouraging them to take part in the IEEEXtreme Programming Competition.

Assist Student Branches in hosting the IEEEXtreme Programming Competition and also supporting members not in a Student Branch in finding a suitable venue for participation.

Host IEEEXtreme seminars, pre-workshops, training programs, and recruitment drives in universities/colleges.

Identify and assist students who require support and guidance with information related to IEEEXtreme.

Coordinate having multiple teams the teams under one roof and provide needed support before the event.

Connect student members who are searching for team members and help teams to find Proctors (who should be Professional Members).

#8

Take part in volunteer training webinars and post-webinar activities for increased learning and beneficial outcomes.
